1: Bible verse for the week
1 John 4:19 We
love Him ( Jesus) because He first loved
us.
2: Bible study for the week
Disipline.
(John
10:10 KJV) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill,
and to destroy: I ( Jesus) am come that they might have life, and that
they might have it more abundantly.
(Job 36:9
KJV) Then he showeth them their work, and their transgressions
that they have exceeded. 10 He openeth also their ear to discipline, and
commandeth that they return from iniquity.
We all do need to live a balanced life..
and during each week no matter how important we may think we are or what we
do now is, we all do need to make time even for:
1: Daily read the Bible, pray, fellowship
with God
2: Doing our tasks, chores, jobs
3: Making time for our fellowship with good
Christian friends
4: Making and Getting the time to
personally relax
5: Getting our sleep, 8 hours
minimum.
6: Pursuing also our personal
development, academic training.
7: Making time for our family
needs
8: Helping others, includes to make
time for the poor and needy persons.
(Mat
26:40 KJV) And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them
asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?
41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit
indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Now no one will make this time, this schedule
for us , we each one of us, we need to do this ourselves, to look
after ourselves.
(Phil 2:12
KJV) Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have
always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence,
work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God
which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good
pleasure. 14 Do all things without
murmurings and disputings: 15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the
sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation,
among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
(Mark
8:36 KJV) For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the
whole world, and lose his own soul?
(2 Tim 4:16 KJV) At my first answer no man stood
with me, but all men forsook me:... 17
Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me;
As usual the Devil will make many of us go to
extreme, imbalances, help us to get involved in false detours, to pursue
other non essential and our mostly false, or inadequate
activities.
(Mat
7:13 KJV) Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate,
and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which
go in thereat: 16 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way,
which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
(Mat
7:15 KJV) Beware of false prophets, which come to you in
sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall
know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of
thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a
corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring
forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast
into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know
them.
(Mat
7:21 KJV) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall
enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father
which is in heaven.
I had successfully counseled once a University
professor whose own husband had abandoned her , even though he loved her,
cause she has become one sided, a work alcoholic, and she had neglected
these other essential aspects of life. I showed her the errors of her ways,
the result of neglecting the basics and pursuing the imbalances, false
tangents and months later I was able to reconcile her with her husband
after she got back on the straight, narrow road..
(Mat 25:26
KJV) His lord answered and said unto him,
Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed
not, and gather where I have not strowed:
(Rom 12:11 KJV) Not slothful in
business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
(Heb
6:12 KJV) That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who
through faith and patience inherit the promises.
(2 Tim
2:15 KJV) Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman
that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16
But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more
ungodliness.
3: Tips on praying for the week.
THE LORD God ALONE STILL ALWAYS LOOKS AFTER YOU AND NOT MARY, NOR
YOUR PASTOR. NOR YOUR PRIEST, nor your spouse, parents. OR
ANYONE ELSE.
That is why we look unto God alone and not to anyone else in
prayer
(Luke 11:2 KJV) And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our
Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will
be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
Psalm 121:1 I lift up my eyes to the hills-- where does my help
come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and
earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip-- he who watches over you will
not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber
nor sleep.
5 The LORD watches over you-- the LORD is your shade at your
right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by
night.
7 The LORD will keep you from all harm-- he will watch over your
life;
8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and
forevermore.
(Psa 65:5 KJV) By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou
answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of
the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:
Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God,
and there is no Other; I am God, and there is none like me.
(Psa 118:8 KJV) It is better to trust in the LORD than to put
confidence in man.
(Psa 118:9 KJV) It is better to trust in the LORD than to put
confidence in princes.
(Prov 3:26 KJV) For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall
keep thy foot from being taken.
(Prov 14:26 KJV) In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence:
and his children shall have a place of refuge.
(Prov 25:19 KJV) Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of
trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.
(Isa 30:15 KJV) For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of
Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in
confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
(Jer 48:13 KJV) And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the
house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel their confidence.
(Micah 7:5 KJV) Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence
in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy
bosom.
2 Samuel 7:22 "How great you are, O Sovereign LORD! There is
no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own
ears.
Psalm 71: 5 For you have been my hope, O Sovereign LORD, my confidence
since my youth. 6 From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from
my mother's womb. I will ever praise you.
Jeremiah 32: "Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the
earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for
you.
Ezekiel 12: 28 "Therefore say to them, `This is what the
Sovereign LORD says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I
say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign
LORD.'
(Isa 43:13 KJV) Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is
none
that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let
it?
(Jer 32:17 KJV) Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the
heaven and the
earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there
is nothing too
hard for thee:
(Jer 32:27 KJV) Behold, I am
the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any
thing too hard for me?
(Mat 19:26 KJV) But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With
men
this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Isaiah 43:11 "... beside me there is no
saviour."
4: Christian testimony for the week
(James 2:1 KJV) My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord
Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. 2 For if
there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and
there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; 3 And ye have respect
to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a
good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my
footstool: 4 Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become
judges of evil thoughts? 5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God
chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which
he hath promised to them that love him? 6 But ye have despised the
poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?
8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt
love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: 9 But if ye have respect to
persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one
point, he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit
adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if
thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak ye,
and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. 13 For
he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath showed no mercy; and mercy
rejoiceth against judgment. 14 What doth it profit, my brethren,
though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and
filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to
the body; what doth it profit?
(1
Pet 3:1 KJV) Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own
husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be
won by the conversation of the wives; 2 While they behold your chaste
conversation coupled with fear. 3 Whose adorning let it not be that
outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting
on of apparel; 4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that
which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit,
which is in the sight of God of great price.
Here is an undeniable fact I went to church with some persons
and I next took the same commuter train with the same persons to work.. I
note that those persons who wore special clothes to Church were, were
also the biggest hypocrites, even the same ones who did also not
fellowship with me on the train and would not talk about God... but those
people who wore the same clothes to church as they did to work were the most
real Christians of the bunch..
After many years of wearing suits I
now really do like to go to Church the way I dress everyday, even to wear my
clean jeans and a clean working shirt to the church, and Sunday as well..
and I practise what I preach, (and so what that they will even throw me out
of church some next? and will show what hypocrites they are there, for It
has happened to me now in 3 churches too. I next never went back to
those churches for there was no reason too. There was no real Christ's love
there for a start. It is still mostly the Male and female Prostitutes
who still like to get dressed up to make a kill!) Jesus loves me
the way I am.
"A poor man dressed in poor clothes was not admitted to
the Church by the
two door ushers..as he walked out sadly a man met him
outside and said, "I have been trying to get into that Church myself for 2
thousand years"? "One Sunday morning the congregation of a ritzy church
(with vaulted ceilings, hand carved oak pews, stained glass windows and deep
plush carpet) had a real upset. A man came in just minutes before the
service was to begin and he was dressed horribly. He had on boots, overalls,
a flannel shirt, and a cowboy hat. The congregation was aghast! Many quickly
sent notes to the minister about this concern. At the end of the service the
minister greeted the humbly dressed man and asked him if he enjoyed the
service. The man exclaimed that he enjoyed it very much. The minister asked
the man to consider possibly dressing differently, and told him to pray to
Jesus about how he would have him dress if he should return again. The next
week the man returned. He was dressed the same and once again the
congregation was disturbed. At the end of the service the minister greeted
the man again and asked him what he had been told by Jesus concerning how to
dress for church. The man exclaimed, "I spoke with Jesus about this but
Jesus said he didn't know how I should dress for your church because he has
never been here.""
(Psa 27:1 KJV) The LORD is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be
afraid?

Corinthinians 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does
not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is
not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in
evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.

6: Difficult Bible Question answered for the
week.
Can a Christin be demon possessed?
Never mind the semantics, temporarily or permanently, oppressed or
possessed, the answer according the Bible is yes.
The DEMONIC possession of Christians is real.. it leads to and causes
them next to a lot of real personal suffering..
Just look at
the "anointed" one who was counted as one of the prophets too King Saul
for a start.. see what happened in his own life as a
result..
(1 Sam 10:11 KJV) And it came to pass, when all that
knew him before time saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets,
then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son
of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?
(1 Sam 10:12 KJV) And
one of the same place answered and said, But who is their father? Therefore
it became a proverb, Is Saul also among the prophets?
(1 Sam 16:14
KJV) But the spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit
from the LORD troubled him.
(1 Sam 16:23 KJV) And it came to
pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp,
and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil
spirit departed from him.
(1 Sam 18:10 KJV) And it came to pass
on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul, and he
prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as at
other times: and there was a javelin in Saul's hand.
(1 Sam 19:9
KJV) And the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his
house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with his
hand.
(1 Sam 31:6 KJV) So Saul died, and his three sons, and
his armour bearer, and all his men, that same day together.
KING SAUL
LOST HIS FAMILY, WEALTH, KINGDOM AFTER HIS DEMON POSSESSION AND THE ONCE
CHRISTIAN JUDAS WAS ANOTHER ONE LIKE SAUL..
(Jude 1:5 KJV) I
will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that
the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward
destroyed them that believed not . 6 And the angels which kept not
their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in
everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.7
Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving
themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth
for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
(John 13:11
KJV) For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not
all clean. 12 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his
garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have
done to you? 13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I
am. 14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also
ought to wash one another's feet. 15 For I have given you an example,
that ye should do as I have done to you. 16 Verily, verily, I say unto
you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent
greater than he that sent him. 17 If ye know these things, happy are
ye if ye do them. 18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have
chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with
me hath lifted up his heel against me. 19 Now I tell you before it
come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he. 20
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send
receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. 21
When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and
said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray
me.
(Luke 6:16 KJV) And Judas the brother of James, and Judas
Iscariot, which also was the traitor.
(Luke 22:3 KJV) Then
entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the
twelve. 4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and
captains, how he might betray him unto them. 5 And they were glad, and
covenanted to give him money.6 And he promised, and sought opportunity to
betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.
(Acts 1:20
KJV) For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be
desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishopric let another
take.
Both Saul and Judas were replaced in God's ministry by
more worthy persons too.
Therefore
(1 Tim 4:12 KJV)
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in
word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in
purity.
(Heb 4:11 KJV) Let us labour therefore to enter into
that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of
unbelief.
(James 5:10 KJV) Take, my brethren, the prophets, who
have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction,
and of patience.
(1 Pet 2:21 KJV) For even hereunto were ye
called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye
should follow his steps:
(1 Cor 11:27 KJV) Wherefore whosoever
shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be
guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man
examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and
drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30 For
this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
(1 Cor
11:31 KJV) For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be
judged.
(1 Cor 10:21 KJV) Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord,
and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of
the table of devils.
(1 Cor 10:23 KJV) All things are lawful
for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but
all things edify not.
(Rom 6:16 KJV) Know ye not, that to whom
ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey;
whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
(Rom
6:21 KJV) What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now
ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
(2 Cor 7:10 KJV)
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but
the sorrow of the world worketh death.
(1 Cor 10:24 KJV) Let no
man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.
(Heb 6:7 KJV)
For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and
bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing
from God:8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected,
and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. 9 But, beloved,
we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation,
though we thus speak. 10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your
work and labour of love, which ye have showed toward his name, in that ye
have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that every
one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the
end:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who
through faith and patience inherit the promises.
(1
Cor 8:8 KJV) But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we
eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse. 9
But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a
stumbling block to them that are weak. 10 For if any man see thee
which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the
conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are
offered to idols; 11 And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother
perish, for whom Christ died? 12 But when ye sin so against the
brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. 13
Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the
world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.
Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty;
only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve
one another.
1 Peter 2:16 As free, and not using your liberty
for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
James
1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and
continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the
work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
2 Peter 2:19
While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of
corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in
bondage. 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world
through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are
again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with
them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have
known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from
the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them
according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and
the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
