Firstly I rightfully do not endorse Christians trying to make money of the gospel, asking for money or any of the supposedly Christian adds, for the Bibles, books, tapes listed here for sale too.. Jesus said as you freely received so freely give. Greedy Hirelings do not do this. http://groups.msn.com/AFOLLOWEROFCHRIST/advrt.msnw

1: Bible verse for the week
(Acts 2:46 KJV)  And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47   Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
2: Bible study for the week
God desires that we worship, praise him always.
(Acts 2:46 KJV)  And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47   Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
Some people would say this verse has two items that are the essential key basis for effective church growth? why?

I am older person too but I do also still wonder how anyone can go to Church and not want to worship God in a great song service and now no matter how old they are too. As I look back on my life there are regrets, sorrows and some things that I do rightfully miss.. One of which I miss was the whole church, both young and old  praising God in a worship services.. and to me one of the greatest tragedy that   I saw firsthand was where a church and families splits, because mostly  the older people, and some others they  did not want to have active worship and praise services in the church,  and so many of the young people next left and started their own Church..

The  Churches that do not praise and worship God in their services tend also not to allow the Holy Spirit to flow freely, or the gifts of the holy spirit as well and that is very sad, unacceptable too... and they also tend not to know what it is to smell the fragrance of God, the anointing of the Holy Spirit in a service..

My second regret is that I have not taken time to smell the roses while going on with life..

(Psa 118:24 KJV)  This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

(Psa 118:25 KJV)  Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.

(Mark 6:31 KJV) And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while:

I have heard of many persons, seen it often myself,  people who worked hard and did not take time for themselves, they had planned to do that after they had retired, and they did not, even as a result, live till their retirement age..

The devil will try to put it of for tomorrow, not the doing  good things  today for yourself and others, knowing that that day tomorrow next likely will not come..

(2 Cor 6:2 KJV)  (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

(Psa 22:22 KJV)  I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee. 23  Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel. 24  For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard. 25  My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him. 26  The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever. 27  All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.  28  For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations.

I also do regret is that I have not taken time to also showing more love to the people I had met when I had the chance to do so.. the devil seems to be able to effectively cause us to be so pressurized  in life, with secondary activities too, that we are mostly daily wasting our time on the non essentials and we forget about the more important things of life, and even the people in it too.

(Mat 26:6 KJV)  Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper,7  There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat. 8  But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste? 9  For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor. 10  When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me. 11  For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always. 12  For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial. 13  Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her.

(Luke 10:38 KJV)  Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. 39  And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. 40  But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. 41  And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: 42  But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

(John 11:2 KJV)  (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)

I am so glad that she Mary  here  had taken twice the time to show love to Jesus and  she understood about the more important needs of life.. unlike Martha and the others..

Have we learned the value of being today, as well as  daily with Jesus too? with his people too, and doing doing the good  things today as well?

(Psa 62:6 KJV)  He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

(Psa 62:7 KJV)  In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.   8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.  9  Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity. 10  Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them. 11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.12 Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.  (Psa 119:1 KJV)   Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. (Prov 10:22 KJV)  The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. (Prov 11:4 KJV)  Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.  (Prov 11:3 KJV)  The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.  (Prov 11:5 KJV)  The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.

(Prov 11:6 KJV)  The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.   (Prov 12:28 KJV)  In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.  (Prov 13:20 KJV)  He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. (Prov 14:19 KJV)  The evil bow before the good; and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.   (Prov 14:32 KJV)  The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death. (Prov 13:25 KJV)  The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.  (Prov 14:33 KJV)  Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known. (Prov 13:21 KJV)  Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be replayed.

and

(Prov 14:21 KJV)  He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.  (Prov 14:31 KJV)  He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.

(Prov 14:1 KJV)  Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.

(Prov 14:2 KJV)  He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the LORD: but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.

(Prov 12:11 KJV)   he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding.   (Prov 14:7 KJV)  Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge.   (Prov 14:8 KJV)  The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit.  (Prov 14:9 KJV)  Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.

(Isa 45:24 KJV)  Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
I really do pray in Jesus name that God would lead you as well soon to at the really good church that has now  great praise and worship service, with great Christian people who really love each other as well.. I still do not think we can live really live well in life on earth without all of this too.

and when we think God is slow in answering prayer do think on this passage below too.. and praise him for these promises too..

(Psa 23:1 KJV) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
3: Tips on praying for the week.
     Pray one for another
(James 5:16 KJV)  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
I have no personally doubt that one of the reasons God does not answer our personal prayers, is cause they are still mostly self centered, selfish prayers and because we do not have real love for others with similar needs as us in the body of Christ.

(1 Cor 13:2 KJV)  And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

(1 Cor 11:27 KJV)  Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28   But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29   For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30  For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

(James 5:16 KJV)  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

The Holy Spirit knows the details..

versus

James 5:16 NIV   Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

this latter  is a poor advice, poor translation too, most people should not know the details of your sins.. but only your faults..

(1 John 1:9 KJV)  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

(Heb 8:12 KJV)  For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

(Heb 8:12 KJV)  For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Note and  remember this and please do note this difference..

For a personal example: I  had wanted to fell better to discuss my sin in details with some one else but God said no, God said the sin was against God and God had forgiven me.. Never the less I did not listen to God, and  I told some other persons , they surprisingly to even me really flew into a rage, and sadly  showed that they really could never forgive anyone at all.. boy it was a great mistake to share the details with them.  Sadly I have had similar experiences with pastors, elders, family members, friends..

so please do note the word appropriate disclosure,  for not everyone can be trusted with all that you say.. not all Christians even  and stay with the faults,  avoid the details likely..

4: Christian testimony for the week
God Himself verbally  told me once that for him to Bless me I had to personally next do something..

(Heb 11:6 KJV)  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (1 Sam 15:22 KJV)  And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.(Rom 10:17 KJV)  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Yes God causes us to be blessed when we do what he asks us, but first we need to be quiet before him to hear what he specifically is asking us to do and next to do it as well..

For a start he God verbally had told me I can next do one  of even 21 things..
  1. I can pray?
  2. I can praise the Lord?
  3. I can wittiness to others?
  4. I can confess his word, claim his promise to me?
  5. I can confess God before men
  6. etc.
and God said If I do my part God will next do his..

6: Difficult Bible Question answered for the week.
Does God heal everyone, every sickness?

Someone may say why do we need healing when we have doctors? As many have discovered firsthand and too late Doctors do not have all their answers, solutions of the they are not God. While it is true that God first desires that persons be saved, God next also desires next that his born  from above children not be sick, not suffer the ravages of sickness as well.
God has clearly specified the ordinance that needs to be carried out by any believers wanting to be healed of any sickness, confession of sins and prayer.

(James 5:13 KJV)  Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. 14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord  16  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. 17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.18  And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. 19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20   Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

One cannot pray for personally healing and have unrepented sins still in one's life.

(1 Cor 11:26 KJV)  For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till he come.27  Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32  But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

Here has has been my related experience many times, many times  after even an in repentant pastor oppose my Biblical expositions he tends to wrongfully slander me also and then next someone else  will phone me and even very often next say did you know the pastor is now seriously sick..

(Mat 5:22 KJV)  But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. 25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
These same pastors tend not to repent or ask for my forgiveness for their wrongs they did, so they stay sick too. It is ironic that many of these  bad pastors are willing to accept their calling as pastors, but they are clearly not willing to accept my calling to ask them rightfully to repent of abusing me no matter how imperfect my calling is.

(Mat 9:13 KJV)  But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

(Mark 2:17 KJV)   They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

(Rom 2:4 KJV)  Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and long suffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? 5  But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6  Who will render to every man according to his deeds: 7  To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: 8  But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9  Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10  But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11  For there is no respect of persons with God. 12  For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 13  (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. 14  For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15  Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) 16  In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. 17  Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God, 18  And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; 19  And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, 20  An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. 21  Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? 22  Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? 23  Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? 24  For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

(Mal 2:1 KJV)  And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you. 2  If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. 3  Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it. 4  And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

(Mal 2:6 KJV)  The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity. 7 For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. 8  But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. 8  Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.

(Isa 53:5 KJV)  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

God does desires to heal every believer of their sickness.

(John 10:26 KJV)  But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

After I had become a Christian, I had a normal life for many years, and then for some unknown reasons MANY MANY difficulties that I had not envisaged, had not expected next had started to come along, ( God had really wanted me to know firsthand the hardships many of his people do face  so I could help them, even by praying compassionately for them next) my first reaction wrongfully it seems was to go and ask the Pastors to help me, almost every single one next unexpectedly disappointed me, was of no real help..and to make things worse they  even instead lied and slandered, abused  me..  and I could not understand that reality that most of them they were still imposters, pretenders, hirelings  mostly..

(James 2:13 KJV)  For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath showed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment. 14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15  If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16  And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17  Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18  Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works. 19  Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20  But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21  Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22  Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 23  And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24  Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. 25  Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? 26  For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

It still never fails but when I present a simple truth from  Jesus some one used by the devil will try to contradict it.. by saying such as "Will God answer your prayer if you don't end with, "In Jesus' name? " or (Gen 3:1 KJV)  Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Never mind someone's mere opinion I know for an absolute absolute fact  the last 20 years and much personal experiences that not only the prayers that are not prayed specifically  in Jesus name generally do not get answered.. it is still not funny that the devil always finds a person to  contradicts the basic simple truth in the Bible.. in regard to praying for healing as well...

When you read any supposed Christian material I would like you to note what Jesus  himself told me "Is  this material   an exaltation of men, of the human spirit and not God?"  and the real  proof of it is as per Jesus 's own words to me.. Paul how much of the Bible does he actually visible quote? Does it compare to how much of the Bible you quote?

SO I PREFER TO STILL TO DO AND TO LISTEN TO WHAT JESUS SAID..

(Isa 55:11 KJV)  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Truly I have seen many miraculous prayers answered in the last year.. and it generally did not take massive praying but simply just agreeing in Jesus name with God and another believer..

(Mat 18:19 KJV)  Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

(Mat 18:20 KJV)  For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

(James 5:16 KJV)  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.17  Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

(Mat 18:20 KJV)  For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

(Mark 9:37 KJV)  Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.

(Mark 16:17 KJV)  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

(John 14:13 KJV)  And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

(John 14:14 KJV)  If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

(John 14:26 KJV)  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

(John 15:16 KJV)  Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

(John 16:23 KJV)  And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

(John 16:24 KJV)  Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

(John 16:26 KJV)  At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:

Personal physical Healing itself is also  generally accomplished by praying to God  in Jesus name and in faith for the personal healing..
