Firstly I rightfully do not endorse Christians trying to make money of the gospel, asking for money or any of the supposedly Christian adds, for the Bibles, books, tapes listed here for sale too.. Jesus said as you freely received so freely give. Greedy Hirelings do not do this. http://groups.msn.com/AFOLLOWEROFCHRIST/advrt.msnw

(2 Tim 2:15 KJV) Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

(2 Tim 3:16 KJV)  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17  That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Vol 1.17
"The cause of weakness of your Christian life is that you want to work it out partly, and let God help you. And that cannot be. You must come to be utterly helpless; to let God work, and God will work gloriously. I could go through scripture, and prove to you how, Moses, when he led Israel out of Egypt; how Joshua, when he brought them into the land of Canaan; how all God's servants in the Old Testament counted upon the omnipotence of God doing impossibilities. And this God lives today, and this God is the God of every child of His. Yet some of us want to give God a little help while we do our best, instead of coming to understand what God wants, and to say; "I can do nothing, God must and will do all." Have you said; "In worship, in work, in sanctification, in obedience to God, I can do nothing of myself, and so my place is to worship the omnipotent God, and to believe that he will work in me every moment?" May God teach us this! The things that are impossible with men are possible with God." (Andrew Murray)

(Acts 21:14 KJV)  And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.

(John 15:4 KJV)  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6  If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8  Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. 9  As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. 11  These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. 12  This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

There are three essentials indicated here
1 Abiding in the finished work of Jesus, in Jesus only, and not in ourselves, others.
2 Abiding always in God and in his will, instructions for us,
3 Abiding in his love which includes our loving others too.

(John 12:25 KJV)  He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.26  If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

(John 4:34 KJV)  Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

(John 5:30 KJV)  I can of mine own self do nothing:...  because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

(John 6:38 KJV)  For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

(Luke 22:42 KJV)  Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

(Mat 12:50 KJV)  For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.(Mark 3:35 KJV)  For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

(1 John 2:9 KJV)  He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. 10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. 11  But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

(1 John 3:15 KJV)  Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.16   Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17   But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? 18  My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

(1 John 4:20 KJV)  If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

(1 John 5:1 KJV)  Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

(1 John 1:9 KJV)  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10  If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

(Mat 7:21 KJV)  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23   And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

John 6:39,40 "And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day."

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Phil 1:6

He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful. 1 Cor 1:8,9

But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things--and the things that are not--to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God--that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 1 Cor 1:27-30

When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power. 1Cor 2:1-5

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 1 Cor 15:10

Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us,  set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. 2Cor 1:21,22

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." John 16:33

"Hebrews 11:6 tells us that it is impossible to please God without faith. Life is about walking with the living God from glory to glory, from strength to strength. But between those breakthroughs of glory we often encounter those seasons of the Valley of Bacca. Those valleys are times of bareness and shadows. But, if we will take our eyes off of the outer situation and focus on Him those places of desert wilderness can  and will be be turned in springs- an oasis of blessings, Psalm 84:6"

Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion. Psa 84:6,7

They go from strength to strength whose strength is found not in themselves but in God.

(Psalm 84.6 AMP)  Passing through the Valley of Weeping (Baca), they make it a place of springs; the early rain also fills [the pools] with blessings.

( Psalms 86:4 NLT) When they walk through the Valley of Weeping,   it will become a place of refreshing springs, where pools of blessing collect after the rains!

(James 5:11 KJV)  Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

(Psa 84:11 KJV)  For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

(Deu 4:39 KJV)  Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.

God has been reinforcing for years two ESSENTIAL truths to me.. Firstly  without God I am always, always, everyday, every place,  a nothing. I am  hopeless, helpless, in me there always is no strength, no real, valid skill, no ability even to do anything, not  even to defeat even any of the persons,  the demons, the devil  and not even to do accomplish effectively on earth, none what so ever. And I have been that way since my earthly birth, even since I brought nothing, at all  into this world, hence my continual rightful totally dependence on God will and does exist always even now for even all I have, or need, even for my health, for any and all my skills, wants,  accomplishments too. I am totally and  humbly and always will be  depended on Him alone,  on God alone who alone, only is sufficient to supply  next what I need  and that attitude alone is all that God still will accept from me too.. for God blesses this alone.. my total humble dependence of me on God, all without any pride too. This same truth applies to us all. All.

(Psa 34:18 KJV)  The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.17  The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

Secondly now God has again confirmed his truth that only then when I get to that point, admitting my total dependence on Him alone, does, and will God next even bless me above and beyond that I can hope, expect as well.

(Psa 84:3 KJV)  Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.

We are to be just like a really helpless and weak sparrow totally depended on God in His house.

Some persons  shared with me that God supposedly also did not want them to have some material possessions,  God rather shared with me that this was false, he did not want them to hold these possessions in a false pride, that the earned, it, deserved it, were worthy of it at all.

(Psa 84:11 KJV)  For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.12  O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

For God to bless us also next with  anything we have to be totally trustful in Him as the soul source of our needs... not ourselves or anyone else.

It is not what we do that counts but rather more importantly what God does through and with us  alone that really counts too..

(Isa 40:27 KJV)  Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?  28  Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29  He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30  Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31  But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

(Psa 5:11 KJV)  But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

(Psa 5:12 KJV)  For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion. Psa 84:6,7

(Isa 41:9 KJV)  .. Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.  10  Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen  thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

(Isa 41:14 KJV)  ..I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

(Psa 37:39 KJV)  But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

(Psa 55:22 KJV)  Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

(Psa 34:15 KJV)  The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

(Psa 34:17 KJV)  The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

(Psa 34:19 KJV)  Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

(Psa 37:25 KJV)  I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

(Psa 37:29 KJV)  The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

(Psa 64:10 KJV)  The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.

(Psa 92:12 KJV)  The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

(Psa 118:15 KJV)  The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

(Prov 15:29 KJV)  The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.

(Psa 86:1 KJV)   Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy.

(Psa 102:17 KJV)  He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.

(Deu 7:6 KJV)  For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

(Deu 26:19 KJV)  And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.

(Eph 3:20 KJV)  Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21   Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

(1 Ki 8:23 KJV)  And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:
Continuing the devotional on the need of ours on total dependence solely on God..

(2 Cor 4:1 KJV)  Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;  2  But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3  But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4  In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 5  For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. 6  For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7  But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 8  We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9  Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10  Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11  For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 12  So then death worketh in us, but life in you. 13  We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; 14  Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. 15  For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. 16  For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. 17  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18  While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 5:1  For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2  For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: 3  If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. 4  For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. 5  Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. 6  Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7  (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8  We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9  Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 11  Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
(2 Cor 5:16 KJV)  Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

(2 Cor 5:17 KJV)  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

(2 Cor 5:18 KJV)  And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

(2 Cor 5:19 KJV)  To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

(2 Cor 5:20 KJV)  Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

(Josh 15:16 KJV)  And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjathsepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife. 17  And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife. 18  And it came to pass, as she came unto him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou?19  Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs.

(Luke 1:62 KJV)  And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called. 63  And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marvelled all. 64  And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God. 65  And fear came on all that dwelt round about them: and all these sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of Judaea. 66  And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord was with him. 67  And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying, 68  Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, 69  And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; 70  As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: 71  That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; 72  To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; 73  The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, 74  That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, 75  In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life. 76  And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; 77  To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins, 78  Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, 79  To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

We  do it seems also do need to enlarge our borders  when we pray..   for God can and will do  above EVEN WHAT WE ASK HIM TO DO FOR US when we do serve, follow, walk after him with our whole hearts..

(1 Chr 4:10 KJV)  And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

(Prov 15:8 KJV)  The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

(Prov 15:29 KJV)  The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.

(Isa 45:24 KJV)  Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.

(Isa 61:10 KJV)  I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

(Jer 3:23 KJV)  Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel.

(Jer 17:7 KJV)  Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

(Joel 2:23 KJV)  Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

(Hab 3:18 KJV)  Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

(Zep 3:2 KJV)  She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the LORD; she drew not near to her God.

(Zec 10:7 KJV)  And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.

(Zec 10:12 KJV)  And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD.

(Acts 14:3 KJV)  Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

(1 Cor 15:58 KJV)  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

(2 Cor 10:17 KJV)  But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

(Eph 6:10 KJV)  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

(Phil 3:1 KJV)  Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

(Phil 4:1 KJV)  Therefore, my brethren, dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

(Phil 4:4 KJV)  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

(1 Th 3:8 KJV)  For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.

(Rev 14:13 KJV)  And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
What we still do personally think is not as important as what God 's will is..  God, his clear will is to help you firstly..  So we have to continue to pray about this.. to give everything to God in prayer, and praying once is clearly not enough.. we pray till we get results here.

For what is a real faith?  a faith is merely copying what others are doing? or a faith that is  merely doing and  listening  to what the others are saying you should do? or is faith rather only doing what God personally per  his word told you to do? and so what did he say to you today to do for sure? what? and what verse did he give you? faith cometh by hearing and acting  on... the word of God to you..  to know that you have to be in his Word continually.

I also do still rightfully think what so many of us personally, wrongfully do is that we confuse our  mental consent with God's word with also as being our real faith applied in God's word... they are not the same and there is a big difference too..  Our faith is not to be just agreed with God it has to be applied, practiced.. used.. But we so OFTEN DO  forsake God  by not trusting him, not keeping the faith in Him, not doing our parts.. rather we need to continually walk by faith.. the just shall live by faith in God.. and to praise him.. (Psa 4:5 KJV)  Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.  (Prov 28:25 KJV)   but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.

If we even trust in ourselves and in our own skills, goodness, we are also sinning before God now as well..  (Judg 7:2 KJV)  And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.
Note it is still not man that works in our lives but God, the Holy Spirit.. we need to worship the spirit and not mere men. and at all times too.. worshiping any man is still false and sinful.

(Psa 118:8 KJV)  It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

(Psa 118:9 KJV)  It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

(Prov 3:26 KJV)  For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

(Prov 14:26 KJV)  In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.

(Jer 17:5 KJV)  Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

Some persons still wrongfully  seem to want to impress me as to how spiritual they are by sending me chain prayer letters..  they rightfully still do not impress me.. Before we pray we do still  need to find out first what is God's will.. not our wills.. and pray God's will. not our wills.. Massive mailed out prayer requests also are still not from God but are mainly another sign of personal false self exaltations and even a real lack of unacceptable personal faith in God.

(Heb 10:38 KJV)  Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

(Heb 10:39 KJV)  But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

(Heb 11:1 KJV)  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.2  For by it the elders obtained a good report.
