Firstly I rightfully do not endorse Christians trying to make money of the gospel, asking for money or any of the supposedly Christian adds, for the Bibles, books, tapes listed here for sale too.. Jesus said as you freely received so freely give. Greedy Hirelings do not do this. http://groups.msn.com/AFOLLOWEROFCHRIST/advrt.msnw

(2 Tim 2:15 KJV) Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

(2 Tim 3:16 KJV)  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17  That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

1: Bible verse for the week
(Prov 8:34 KJV)  Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

2: Bible study for the week
(Luke 18:1 KJV)  And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

"Subject: Prayer needed: I just wanted to let you know that my son was able to get a court appointed lawyer when he went to court on the 20 th. There was no hearing that day but they will notify him soon about a court date. Please pray that this lawyer is a good one and can help to figure out this mess.  Also, I would appreciate it if you would pray for  me as I am having some teeth pulled . The last time I had teeth pulled I had a bad reaction; I have multiple allergies and extreme drug reactions to almost any medications I have ever taken. Please pray that all goes well and that I do not have any bad reactions this time. I now have high blood pressure and asthma so this also complicates the situation. I appreciate your prayers and in faith I believe all will go well. God bless you, :"

As I was thinking about this particular prayer request  I was as clearly reminded of my own past personal experiences in life and the lessons also that  I had also learned about praying and so should we all including now these truths-

When a personal problem perseveres I also do next do ask rightfully even the whole church to pray for it.. that the answers  might bring even the glory to God before the whole church

I was also reminded who I had learned not to be guilty of the sins of presumption, taking our health, or doctors, dentists for granted.. how we do need still beforehand too to pray for this as you rightfully have.. for I too  have too often been disappointed by doctors, nurses, lawyers, professionals, civil and public servants, judges  for I was still looking for, expecting help from mere man and not rather firstly from God.

and I too talk to God about everything in prayer..  otherwise we are committing a sin TOO .. really.. even the sin of presumption.. THE PEOPLE WHO TEND NOT TO BOTHER GOD ABOUT THE SMALL STUFF are  still even sadly and wrongfully thinking to highly of themselves  while living a self centered life.. they wrongfully really are not living  a God centered life.. you can tell try to tell them that. is what is what they are really doing in love .. (Luke 19:17 KJV)  And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.

I am often like you am personally confronted by people who have great personal problems, some people who tried to get rich quickly too,  and I have nothing to help them in? and some of them in particularly  are still wrongfully none believers too. But God reminds me that God in Jesus Christ hears my prayers, even on behalf of the non Christians, and I can and I should personally  pray for their good health, good well being as well here one earth next..

(James 5:16 KJV)  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.17  Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18   And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

"Heavenly father I do pray for the good health now also in Jesus name for my sister.  do pray that you would heal her of her asthma, high blood pressures and her allergies now as well. also do pray in Jesus name that you help her to have a good visit to the dentist next as well, with no problems or complications. pray all of this for God's glory as well. "

"I do humbly ask you to grant the prayer request of my Sister. God touch our sister, anoint her with Your Holy Spirit I pray and grant her all the freedom from the satanic attacks. In precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ I ask you Amen."

(Rom 1:21 KJV)  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools... 28   And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

In reality:
"1. Obeying God means we will encounter hardships and difficulties, but these experiences are opportunities to grow in faith.

(Rom 8:17 KJV)  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
2. When we face crises, we should look IN PRAYER to the Lord for guidance to meet our needs and the needs of others and no matter how small or large now they can be as well. We should not look towards others to help us.

(Luke 18:1 KJV)  And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

(Isa 40:31 KJV)  But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

(Phil 4:6 KJV)  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.7  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

3. Grumbling also is never appropriate for a Christian.
It reveals a lack of faith in God and also personal laziness, a wrong still unwilligness to follow God's way and will.

(1 Th 5:18 KJV)  In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

(Heb 13:15 KJV)  By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.16   But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

(2 Th 1:11 KJV)  Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: 12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
4. As God's people, we must and can trust Him to supply all the time, daily each and all of  our physical needs as we respond to Him in obedience, faihtfulness.
(Psa 37:3 KJV)  Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. 4  Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5  Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.6  And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday 7   Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.8  Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. 9   For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

(Phil 4:19 KJV)  But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

5. Our personally Depending on God to provide for our physical needs helps us grow in our personal relationship with Him.

"(Phil 4:20 KJV)  Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

(1 Pet 2:2 KJV)  As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

(2 Pet 3:18 KJV)  But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

(Eph 4:15 KJV)  But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

6: The same people who are not walking by faith in God are walking in reality  by faith in self, thus still in sin..

(Heb 10:38 KJV)  Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

(1 Pet 4:11 KJV)  If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

(2 Th 3:1 KJV)  Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

3: Tips on praying for the week.
Recently I was praying to God for his help in preparing these notes on prayer.. One of the first things he did was to get me up in the middle of the night to pray for others..

(James 5:16 KJV)  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.18  And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

We tend to know but we also tend to forget that  nothing good happens on earth without prayer, not even for our own family.. or others

(Job 1:5 KJV)  And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

It is true that Job prayed for his family, all of his children every day.. and that seems to be our FIRST, main concerns too AND NEXT WE PRAY FOR God's children.. God HAS TOLD ME MORE THAN ONCE  that as I would look after the good welfare of His children, he God would next look after my family, my children, my concerns,

(Psa 37:4 KJV)  Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.6  And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

(Psa 37:7 KJV)  Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.8  Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.9  For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. 10  For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.11   But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

(Psa 128:1 KJV)  A Song of degrees. Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways. 2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. 3   Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. 4   Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.5   The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life. 6  Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.

(Isa 54:13 KJV)  And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children. 14  In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.15   Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. 16  Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.17  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

When we pray for the needs of others.. it is not always when it is convenient for us, at our own schedule too.

Speaking of our schedule  and sleep.. we humans like to keep a schedule.. and we tend to be very inflexible but God has his own timing.. often I have felt really tired in the middle of the day and when I prayed about it God would tell me to go and fall asleep for a while.. and that very same evening I would next have an unexpected visitor who would need my help and thus they would keep me up late, or I would have to talk to someone on the computer late at night..  or write someone a special devotional message late a night and send it to someone.. I would even have to  get up to read an email and pray for it even at 12, 1, 3, 4, 5 am.. .... and next I still would have no difficultly in going to sleep again, and my getting up in the middle of the night it  would have no negative side effects on me too.. I would not feel sick, nauseated cause my sleep was broken.. God does take clearly care of his own, those who faithfully serve him.

All this to me really started to happen about 20 years ago when I had agreed with God to have daily my morning Bible devotions everyday with Him,God  and subsequently I became his servant and God would control all of my life.. me included.. my prayer life too.

"You are so right, God has his time clock. I have asked him to wake me up at certain times and he always has. God used to wake me up at 3 am when it was quiet often when my husband and kids lived a home. This was a quiet time I could spend with God because my days were so busy."

(Mat 14:23 KJV)  And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

Each one of us we still do need to be led by god in our prayers even what to pray for specifically for each persons  we are led to pray for..  I too would rather you pray as God leads you.. sometimes you of course may be generally led to cover them now with love and a blanket of forgiveness and let god next deal fully with them as he God wants in  his will and his time.. that is the way I do it..
4: Christian testimony for the week

"I had my extractions done yesterday. As I sat in the waiting room, I glanced out the window and the sky was filled with fluffy white clouds. Watching the clouds was soothing. I whispered to God, that I knew He was going to watch over me. Almost immediately, I felt so much peace, and then I experienced warmth around my shoulders as though someone was embracing me. At first I thought it was my imagination, but without question as it continued, I knew it was a touch from God to reassure me. A couple of minutes later they called my name.

I was calm as I sat down in the dentist chair. When the Dentist came in he asked the nurse why the laughing gas wasn’t in the room, I thought, someone wasn’t paying attention to my chart. The nurse told him that it was her understanding that Tara was allergic to laughing gas, and I told him she was right.

Then without even telling me he was going to do it, he put some gel-like substance liberally on my gums and on the inside and outside of my lips. My mouth and lips felt like they were on fire and the taste was horrible. He started to put the needle in my gums, and I asked him to give me a minute, because my heart was starting to race. I took a deep breath hoping that would help, but it didn’t and I knew my blood pressure was going up too high. I asked him what he had put in my mouth and he said it was some kind of anesthetic agent to numb the area before he put the novocaine in my gums. It was on my chart that they were not to use anything on me except the novocaine. Mistakes like this one is why my confidence is in God not man. I told him that my heart was pounding and that I thought we should wait a few minutes before using the novocaine. But my heart continued to pound and I starting coughing and getting sick, and I knew by experience it was a bad reaction.

All I knew was that I did not want to die in the dentist chair from an allergic reaction. At that point, I did not care what the dentist or the nurse would think about what I was going to say. All I knew was that I had to stop the devil's attempt to kill me. I said: "In the Holy name of Jesus, I bind and cast away from me, the spirits of heart attack, aneurysm, stroke, high blood pressure and rapid pulse. I will not accept your evil deeds Satan, so get out of this office right now! In the Name that is above all names, I command you to leave immediately!" Within seconds, my heart rate went back to normal and the burning in my mouth was also gone. It seemed like there was silence in the entire building for several seconds. Neither the dentist, nor the nurse said anything for a couple of minutes. Then he turned to me and asked if I was okay now. I said, yes, go ahead it will be okay now. He only gave me half of the amount of numbing, as he should; I think he was still afraid I would have another reaction this time to the novacaine. He had difficulty getting two of the three teeth out, and unfortunately I could feel the pain of both of those extractions. I didn't scream but I felt like it, instead I prayed for God to see me through, and of course our never-failing God of gods, helped me. I was in a great deal of pain yesterday, as I cannot take any medications for pain, not even Tylenol or aspirin, and also my lips and the gums had been burnt by the gel stuff. But Jesus helped me through the pain and today I doing much better. Thank you so much for your prayers in this matter, believe me they were appreciated and answered. Our God, the only real God, is so awesome and I never cease to marvel at His ways. God bless each of you. My Christian love to all of you, Tara"

6: Difficult Bible Question answered for the week.
It is unbelievable how many many persons still do have a wrong  definition of what it means to be a Christian, many many Christians , Pastors now included too.

(Gal 5:22 KJV)  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.  24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25   If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26  Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

(Mat 11:8 KJV)  But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses.

(John 8:23 KJV)  And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.

(John 18:36 KJV)  Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world:

(Heb 11:13 KJV)  These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14   For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

(Mat 19:30 KJV)  But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

"I can of my own self do nothing," Jesus even said this (Jn. 5:30; 5:19). Jesus "emptied himself" of personal pride and lived as God's servant.  "He humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, yea, the death of the cross" (Phil. 2:5-8)  Even Apostle Paul rightfully practised "I have been  crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ lives in  me" (Gal. 2:20)   but this is not how many of God's supposed servants wrongfully live like today and now why?

We also do seem to have these days too many imposters, pretentious Christians, they claim to be Christians, and some of them they appear to Christians on the outside but are not so on the inside..  they wrongfully are still not kind, loving towards others or, humble persons. These  still Worldly persons are wrongfully still impressed by the outward appearances, by the big salaries, the big homes, the  big and rich churches.. my own dad included.. he cleanly thinks as he also just said to me that good pastors are found in the rich, big  churches cause they can afford to hire the best pastors .. or the best "hirelings" still..  and this is not God's kingdom or God's legitimate value system as well.

(Mat 11:9 KJV)  But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet. 10  For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Some people foolishly think that God has a dual standard system too.. and rich people are more blessed by God than the poor persons.. not at all.. generally the riches are a curse..

(Mat 19:21 KJV)  Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

Many wrongfully still do think they now are like Jesus merely by trying. Not at all  can anyone succeed to be like Christ even daily on their  own. WE ALWAYS DO STILL NEED THE HOLY SPIRIT TO DO THIS. We were not only born in sin and shapen in iniquity, but we tend to still walking the sin and in the flesh without the direct help, influence of the Holy Spirit.

Everyone has  to be personally faithful in  al things too and if you want to please God then you also daily do have to live your life so as to please only Him, and not yourself.  God has the same value system for all his children, he God expects us all  to be humble, kind to the poor, loving persons now as well.. God actively looks for faithfulness in His servants IN ALL THINGS TOO. (Mat 25:21 KJV)  His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

(James 1:9 KJV)  Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted: 10   But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.11  For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

(Mat 19:29 KJV)  And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

(Mat 23:11 KJV)  But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.12  And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

(Mat 23:13 KJV)  But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.14  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.  15  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. 16  Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor! 17  Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold? 18  And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty. 19  Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift? 20  Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon. 21  And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein. 22  And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon. 23  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law,  judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. 24  Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. 25  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. 26  Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. 27  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. 28  Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. 29  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, 30  And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. 31  Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. 32  Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. 33  Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? 34  Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: 35  That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

(Mark 12:41 KJV)  And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. 42  And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. 43  And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: 44  For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

(Luke 16:9 KJV)  And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.

(Luke 16:10 KJV)  He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

(Luke 16:11 KJV)  If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?12   And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?

(Luke 16:13 KJV)  No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

(Luke 16:14 KJV)  And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.

(Luke 16:15 KJV)  And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

(Luke 16:18 KJV)  Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.

(Luke 16:19 KJV)  There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20  And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21  And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22  And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23  And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24  And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25  But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26  And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27  Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: 28  For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29  Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30  And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31  And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. 17:1  Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

(Luke 17:2 KJV)  It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

(Luke 17:3 KJV)  Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

(1 Sam 2:35 KJV)  And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.

You personally claimed that Jesus is Lord of your life than show it daily now as well to all. (Eccl 5:1 KJV)  Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil. 2  Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.  3  For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool's voice is known by multitude of words. 4  When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed. 5  Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.  6  Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands? 7  For in the multitude of dreams and many words there are also divers vanities: but fear thou God.

We all need to be daily crucified with Christ and to humbly lay aside our pride and acknowledge that we are ever in debt to  Him alone for all that we have, are too.. not any mere man or women now too.

(Rom 8:11 KJV)  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

(Psa 97:12 KJV)  Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

(1 Th 5:14 KJV)  Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly,

(Rom 1:32 KJV)  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.  2:1  Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. 2  But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. 3  And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? 4  Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and long suffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? 5  But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6  Who will render to every man according to his deeds:  7  To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: 8  But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9  Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10  But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11  For there is no respect of persons with God. 12  For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 13  (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. 14  For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15  Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) 16  In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. 17  Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God, 18  And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; 19  And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, 20  An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. 21  Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? 22  Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? 23  Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? 24  For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

We all still do need to routinely behave fully, in all things, always as God would behave. Not because we choose still to do so, we prefer to, because we should do so. If you really do want to please God then  you must live your life so as to please Him, and not yourself and really walk in the Holy Spirit rather than still in the flesh. God's faithfulness reaches unto the clouds and so should ours now too. (Psa 36:5 KJV)  Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.6  Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast. 7  How excellent is thy loving kindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

Some persons seem to wrongfully  make their own faithfulness a hallmark of their human relationships, but the faithfulness that matters most is the faithfulness we show towards God and  not how we try to appear towards others. We do seem to have these days too many imposters, pretentious Christians, they appear to Christians on the outside but are not so on the inside..  they wrongfully, unacceptably too  are still not kind, loving towards others or  humble persons

"Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?" --Prov. 20:6

(Rom 1:21 KJV)  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools...  28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29  Being filled with all unrighteousness..

God has also many times PERSONALLY told me that his true prophet(s) often wore rags, were poor, and they are  not the rich pastors found today in the rich temples collecting prayers.. for they were generally still very poor persons pointing out specific sins and asking all of the people to repent and is this not so?

Note it is still not man that works in our lives but God, the Holy Spirit.. we need to worship the spirit and not mere men. and at all times too.. worshiping any man is still false and sinful.

(1 Chr 16:41 KJV)  And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever;

(Psa 118:8 KJV)  It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

(Psa 118:9 KJV)  It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

(Prov 3:26 KJV)  For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

(Prov 14:26 KJV)  In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.

(Jer 17:5 KJV)  Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

Some persons still wrongfully  seem to want to impress me as to how spiritual they are by sending me chain prayer letters..  they rightfully still do not impress me.. Before we pray we do still  need to find out first what is God's will.. not our wills.. and pray God's will. not our wills.. Massive mailed out prayer requests also are still not from God but are mainly another sign of personal false self exaltations and even a real lack of unacceptable personal faith in God.

(Heb 10:38 KJV)  Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

(Heb 10:39 KJV)  But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

(Heb 11:1 KJV)  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.2  For by it the elders obtained a good report.
