Firstly I rightfully do not endorse Christians trying to make money of the gospel, asking for money or any of the supposedly Christian adds, for the Bibles, books, tapes listed here for sale too.. Jesus said as you freely received so freely give. Greedy Hirelings do not do this. http://groups.msn.com/AFOLLOWEROFCHRIST/advrt.msnw

2: Bible study for the week
Made Perfect in One.. In Jesus alone.

And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. (Col. 1:18).

...from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. (Rev 1:5).

For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. (Rom 8:29-30).

The church consists of all the Believers in Christ.  Sadly in most churches only up to about 30 percent of the people are really believers in Christ and thus the rest are not! When Jesus and the Apostles wrote about the true Church, they talked about the fathering, gathering of the true believers, and not the false ones, they talked about more about the the wise virgins and not the foolish ones. God is not building the church  empires, or the denominations, or the building programs, he is building up the individual persons, the  people of his one, true Church, the bride of Jesus Christ, the heavenly Jerusalem, and not the earthly Jerusalem.

And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. (Col. 1:18)....

to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. (Heb. 12:23).

1) The Church that Jesus is still building is not the buildings.. but the people

He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (Mat 16:15-18)

(Christ alone  is the rock, the chief cornerstone  that God is building his church upon, and not rather solely upon any of the people in it.)

Two other absolute essentials define the church. First, without question, is the fact that the church is built upon faith in God. Knowing that He is, and knowing who He is. Second, but of no less importance, the ever essential knowledge that it is God building the church that has his people. It is thus not an operation of man. The church exists and thrives by the will of God, and for the glory of God. The very definition of the word church: the called out, indicates that God is calling and we must answer in coming out, separating ourselves and fulfilling God’s will only for us.

1577. ekklesia, ek-klay-see'-ah; from a comp. of G1537 and a der. of G2564; a calling out, i.e. a popular meeting, espec. a religious congregation (Jewish synagogue, or Chr. community of members on earth or saints in heaven or both):--assembly, church.

Ultimately, the church will include all the saved from every generation, Old and New Testament Saints. The Bible has always used the term church to indicate that group of people that God has called out to be partakers of His heritage.

The Church - The Bride - The New Jerusalem

The Old Testament Church:

He brought them out, after that he had showed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years. This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear. This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us: (Acts 7:36-38)

We all are called to be separate and holy:( From the World, the flesh, and the devil )

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2 Cor 6:14-18)

The New Testament example of Church activity:

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. (1 Pet 2:9-10)

And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. (Acts 2:44-47)

2) Purposes of God - To Eliminate Conflict

One of the great joys of Heaven will be the absence of conflict. Since the introduction of conflict by Satan, God has been actively and effectively restoring His order and rule over mankind. Mankind has suffered the plagues of being out of order and in constant turmoil. Towards the goal of restoring our peace, we find the principle of “Oneness” used by God. The devil separated us from God through sin. God is now calling us to be made “one” with Him. Such a bond of unity, that in the end, all that will be, will be God in all, and all in God.

Then cometh the end, when he (Jesus) shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death..... And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. (1 Cor 15:24-28)

This promise of hope is offered to all, but it is only those who have heard the voice of God calling, and have obeyed the command to be separate, to be clean, to be holy, to be obedient to all the instructions of God’s word. These people are the church, the called and chosen of God. These are the people of God that He is building. Eliminating conflict necessitates the elimination of the “will of man” in all things, including our thoughts on what the church is and should be. All defining factors must be solidly founded on the rock solid truth of the Word of God. To the willing heart God has made it easy to know all we need to know. “Line upon line, and precept upon precept” our knowledge grows, allowing us to literally feel the awesome solidity of that Rock we serve, that Rock upon which He, and we build our eternal lives together. Going further into His Word, this study will function to further solidify our scriptural definition of who will be “The Bride of Christ”. The Book of Revelation gives us a vision of this Bride, there she is to “behold” leaving us with no doubt as to what God is building. His signature of approval is plainly visible in each element of the building process. Behold with me what God has wrought.

Elements of the Kingdom

And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. (Rev. 21:9-27)

3) The Bride = The Church = The City

The Elements:

1) The Great Mountain = Jesus Christ

2) The 12 Foundations = The work of the Apostles

3) The Walls = The Church Fitly Framed

4) The City = The Habitation of God

The Rock = Jesus Christ = The Great Mountain

He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (Mat 16:15-18)

The term peter used here refers to smalll, little rocks, but Christ is the Rock.

The prophet Daniel gives us a word concerning the final destruction of Satan's kingdom. He mentions that it is a stone that comes, destroys this kingdom, and then that stone becomes a great mountain. We know that that stone is of course Jesus.

Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image, became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. (Dan 2:34-35)

All truth is important, but the greatest truth is knowing who Jesus Christ is. Simply because without this essential knowledge, you have not built your house on the rock as is commanded in scripture.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. (Mat 7:22-27)

We are building our eternity. Jesus used a natural illustration to show us the ultimate importance of the first step towards that eternity. Choosing the site ( Jesus Christ the Rock) upon which to place all of our trust, faith, hope, allegiance, and obedience. He is worthy of our all because in our desire to build our eternity, logically it stands to reason that we should build upon that One that is Eternal. That Great Mountain immovable! And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. (1 John 5:20) And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. (John 17:3) Eternal life rests on the immovable truth that there is One True God. That God, manifested Himself in the flesh of Jesus Christ for the express purpose of purchasing Himself a Bride and that Bride cost the very precious blood of our Savior. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. (Acts 20:28) In whom (Jesus) we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: (Col 1:15) Against this truth the gates of hell cannot prevail! Upon this truth I built my eternity! (Upon the true Church, the true Belivers for not any local  Churches is  even  the true church.)

The Bible gives us vivid examples. One of the advantages of being a New Testament Saint is that we can also learn from the mistakes of the Old Testament church, Israel. One of the greatest mistakes they made was not remaining faithful to that Rock that saved them.

Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. (Deu 32:3-4)

But Jeshurun (another name for the nation of Israel) waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation. They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger. They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not. Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee. And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters. And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith. (Deu 32:15-20)

Old Testament:

Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. (Exo 17:6)

New Testament:

Jesus answered and said unto her,If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. (John 4:10)

Take heed:

Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. (1 Cor 10:1-6)

I want to make it clear that it wasn't that literal rock that Moses smote that followed them. It was presence of God. Jesus Himself  amongst them working signs and wonders and miracles. Who then, manifested His presence as a Cloud by day and a Pillar of fire by night. That very same God robed Himself in flesh and came to His own...and they knew Him not... They rejected Him in the wilderness, and they again rejected Him as their Messiah. They forsook their Rock twice! Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. Matt. 21:42-43

The fruits thereof.... The fruits of knowing who Jesus is, and building your life according to His word places you on That Great Mountain.

Building Your Eternal Habitation

The Foundation = The Works of the Apostles

Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; (Eph. 2:20)

It absolutely astonishes me how many supposed Bible scholars I come across who are clue less to the reality of Apostolic Authority. When I hear things like: I would rather take the word of Jesus over that of the Apostles, or: The Apostles were stubborn and ignorant, or all sorts of less than respectful remarks, I then know that person has no part in the Kingdom of heaven. The Bible very clearly teaches that our nextreceiving Apostolic Authority is equal to receiving God, and rejecting Apostolic Authority equals rejecting God. The true Apostles share the applicable truth as to what God wants them to share.

Jesus taught them:

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send, receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. (John 13:20)

I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. (John 17:6-8)

Jesus prayed for them:

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me ((through their word;)) (John 17:17-18, 20)

Jesus sent them:

Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. (John 20:21)

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Mat 28:19-20)

Definition: of the word sent: 649. apostello, ap-os-tel'-lo; from G575 and G4724; set apart, i.e. (by impl.) to send out (prop. on a mission) lit. or fig.:--put in, send (away, forth, out), set [at liberty]. (From which we get the word Apostle.)

They obeyed!!

"For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God ((which ye heard of us,)) ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe." (1 Th 2:13 KJV)

The New Testament Church unfailingly adhered to the teachings of the Apostles:

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. (Acts 2:41-42)

God Himself hand picked these men. God Himself taught and prepared these men. God Himself equipped, and authorized these men to do the work they did. God Himself qualified their work by resting His own precious Bride firmly in their hands. The whole purpose of their work was as Paul put it: .... for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. (2 Cor 11:2) A chaste virgin without spot or blemish. We have the epistles written to the churches. These were written to keep the church holy and faithful to God. These were written to keep the church without spot and without sin. These were written to keep the church strong in their love for their Bridegroom. These were written to keep their love strong for one another. God trusted them to equip us as brides to be. If God trusted them shouldn't we trust them.? Who are we to reject, or judge their fitness to literally prepare our souls to be married to God. Rejecting just one jot or tittle of whatever they instructed the church means you are a harlot, and not fit for the kingdom.

To reject the full council of God's Word, in the Bible, the words personally revealed by Jesus, the Apostle's , Prophets, teachers,  = Lawlessness (iniquity)

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. (1 Pet 2:8)

Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. (Mat 21:42-44)

In the above passage, the phrase: and whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken, in the original Greek carries the idea of going to Jesus in humility, and letting Him rebuild our lives, in contrast to the end of the passage which indicates being crushed and destroyed by the judgment of God. Let’s not repeat the example of the Israeli rejection, and heed in humility to the unmistakable direction given to us in God’s word. Let us continue steadfastly in the Apostles doctrines as taught in the Epistles, and let us be the chaste virgins waiting for our Bridegroom.

The Walls = The Lively Stones = The Saints

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath them. before ordained that we should walk in. Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. (Eph 2:10-22)

Ye also, as lively stones, are built up, a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded..... But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: (1 Pet 2:5-6,9)

Relationship, relationship, relationship. Christianity is all about restored relationships. We are restored to the true family of God. We are restored as brothers and sisters. Joy, love, unity and noise, the four hallmarks of a fully restored, fitly framed Saint of God. To illustrate this reality all we have to do is examine the phrase fitly framed. The word for word literal Greek of Eph. 2:21

21 . hos:G3739 pas:G3956 . oikodome:G3619 sunarmologeo:G4883 auxano:G837 . . hagios:G40 naos:G3485. . kurios:G2962

The phrase fitly framed is one composite Greek word made up from three words as follows:

4883. sunarmologeo, soon-ar-mol-og-eh'-o; from G4862 and G719 and G3004 (in its orig. sense of laying); to render close-jointed together, i.e. organize compactly:--be fitly framed (joined) together.

4862. sun, soon; a prim. prep. denoting union; with or together (but much closer than G3326 or G3844), i.e. by association, companionship, process, resemblance, possession, instrumentality, addition etc.:--beside, with. In comp, it has similar applications, includ. completeness.

719. harmos, har-mos'; from the same as G716; an articulation (of the body):--joint. 716. harma, har'-mah; raised or fitted together (as in harmonious)

3004. lego, leg'-o; a prim. verb; prop. to "lay" forth, i.e. (fig.) relate (in words [usually of systematic or set discourse; by impl. to mean:--ask, bid, boast, call, describe, give out, name, put forth, say (-ing, on), shew, speak, tell, utter.

The Saints are members of His body or temple. We are called out, cleansed by His blood and Word, and brought into the closely compacted family of God, sharing God's heritage and praising His Name. Just a look at the church that was born on the day of Pentecost, fully restored to God, full of the Holy Ghost, and fully adhering to the Apostles Doctrine, and you will see the Bride of Christ.

We can plainly see the love and unity, the gladness and joy, the togetherness and physically caring for the good one for another, the praising God and witnessing to all the people. This is the church that Jesus began building!

With a church building on every corner and thousands of denominations, what is prevalent in the world today is rather still mostly non church disunity, discord, self-proclamation, self-advancement, self-righteousness, feel good, get rich, sin all you want, don’t tell me what to do, religions. I have news for you, Satan is pretty good at building churches too!

Thank God that God is faithful to His purposes. Thank God that we don’t have to be left guessing as to which church is the right one. Here’s a hint, church has nothing to do with buildings, cathedrals or the such like. Church is people willing to manifest the fruits of the kingdom, For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. (Rom 14:17) God is looking for individuals wanting no compromise, there is One God, One Faith, One Heaven, and one way there, the Bible way. Don’t take my word for it, here, let God Himself tell us what He is looking for:

Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. (Isa 66:1-2)

Contrite means humble, God is looking for humble, moldable people who are obedient to His word. Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. (Mat 5:3-9)

4) That God may be All, and in All = No More Conflict

Satan's willfulness caused division in Heaven and mankind's division from the commonwealth of God. This division has caused all the pain that you and I and all mankind have had to endure. God created us in His image with the express purpose of us having fellowship with Him. Because of our disobedience that fellowship was interrupted. Fortunately for us, God in His mercy and grace, has provided a cure for this division, and is offering to all those willing to obey God, the unfathomable promise of a fellowship so close that we are "One in Him, and Him in Us". The following prayer of Jesus reveals to us this intimate desire, and it lays out "The Plan" to bring all this about. He prayed for His Apostles, and He prayed for those who would believe in Jesus through their word. Jesus gave full authority to "Their word". We have the record of their word in the book of Acts, where the "Salvation Plan" is fully put into operation. To those who obey "Their word", God promises the eternal joys of being reunited in "ONE".

These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. (John 17:1-26)

Conclusion: A house divided against itself cannot stand (Mark 3:25)  applies to the Church, and our homes, marriage too.

A house built on the right foundation, set on The Rock, Christ Jesus is eternal! An individual who submits to the Jesus authority is the individual who will be made one with God. This is the Bride of Christ. Let him who has an ear, hear what thus saith the LORD.

One Rock - One Door - One Way - One God - One Faith - One Church = Peace on earth, good will towards all men. Come out of the confusion, come out of the lies, come out of the wickedness of this world, the flesh, and the devil and his lies, and enter into the unity of God's Spirit for the Spirit and the Bride say come. God Bless.

3: Tips on praying for the week.
In reality the still main sinful, unrepentant reasons  even many men do not serve God, do not go to church, is cause they also personally do have a wrong sinful perspective, priority, for they mostly still serve themselves and not God.

I have also been in churches where 80 percent of the attendees, members were women, and they were not any more spiritual, they only thought they were.. they were going to church not to serve God but hopefully to try to better themselves in life, to have an easier life, by trying to please God with their church attendances.. since they too really were not really serving God, they also  were not any better spiritually overall too.

I have proven it myself more than once too.. that if you want an ongoing  revival in any local church it can happy very easily, for all the local  pastor has to do is meet one hour a week with two persons at least and to pray that God would specifically be manifested in each of the Church services. Sadly few pastors are even willing to do this.  Too specifically pray that God alone would be glorified in each of the Church services, that sinful men and women would feel sinful, be convicted of their sins  and  that they there would repent, fully turn their lives unto God.. It is not the a better preacher or better preaching that is needed but real prayers, for the still hard and unrepentant hearts thus  the main problem is firstly  the still evident real lack of prayer specifically for each of the Church services.

(Mat 26:40 KJV)  And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?41  Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

I explicitly met with a pastor for 3 months for this type of specific weekly prayer meeting  for one hour and in one FOLLOWING Sunday shortly he had even about 28 of his regular persons even saved next... to the Pastor's  great dismay and surprise.. My great dismay and surprise was that he the pastor had not done so before, he had not regularly prayed with others for one hour weekly for God to take over each of the specific services.

I do now in Jesus name pray specifically that God would now raise such prayer warriors in your local church who would pray with your for each of the services, so men and women would become saved, delivered, redeemed, healed even.
4: Christian testimony for the week
"Let me share with you that when today morning I got up at 5.45 in the morning
I saw my wife sitting with a pain and she revealed me of her Gall bladder stones aches, though they were terrible, she did not wake me up. Realising I took the bible started reading and praying to our Almighty, after I gave her the pain killer and waited but she was not relieved of the pain. After some moments she told me to apply oil, I took out the bottle and there God spoke to me. I started praying and in the prayers first even ask my wife to pray and ask for forgiveness and prayed along with her to heal the sickness, bind the satan. Then I took the oil and placed it  on her chest in prayer to our Lord in the name of Jesus and thank Him that He heard our prayers and she was relieved of all the pain she had. She got up and prepared a tiffin for me.I called her from my office and she told me that she is fine and the pain has dissapeared. This is the testimony I want to share with you as this was Lords will. Praise the Lord once again."

6: Difficult Bible Question answered for the week.
       The Rapture of the Church
"And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the grave after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appear unto many."Matt. 27:51-53

This to me is a key verse of Christ, Christianity.. the bodily  resurrection of believers next..

(Heb 2:14 KJV)  Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;15   And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.16  For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.17  Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

We have two clear cases in the Bible where some people never died even .. they were raptured, taken to heaven directly too.

"And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him." Gen. 5:24

"And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven."  2 Kings 2:11

Furthermore

Hebrews 11:35, "Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection."
Mark 13:35-37, "Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch."
Luke 21:36, "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."

Romans 5:9, "Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."

1 Thessalonians 1:10, "And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come."
Revelation 3:10-11, "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to, try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown."

(Nahum 1:9 KJV)  What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.

Philippians 3:11-14. "If by any means I might attain unto the out-resurrection of the dead. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I an apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethern, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching unto those things which are before. I PRESS TOWARD THE MARK FOR THE PRIZE OF THE HIGH CALLING OF God in CHRIST JESUS."
Apostle Paul himself was waiting to be raptured too.

It happened before to others so why can it not  happen again?

The word "rapture"  refers to the  event where the faithful believers will be carried away from the world before the great tribulation comes on the earth in the last days... Then after this tribulation, Christ will come to the earth to begin his millennial kingdom which will last 1000 years. At the end of the millennium, Christ will come again. Some would like to say that Scripture, however, teaches only one return of Christ not three.
There is clearly three returns for Christ, one is at the rapture where we met Christ in the air.. but still not all believers will be raptured.. but only the faithful ones. Overcomers, raptured before the Tribulation (Pre-tribulation) with the carnal believers still going into tribulation and being raptured/resurrected at Mid-tribulation..and according to your own faith it shall be done unto you.
(1 Th 4:15 KJV)  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

(Mat 25:6 KJV)  And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7  Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.8  And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9  But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.  10   And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.11  Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

and next..

Revelation 7:14, "And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."  Revelation 14:9-13, "And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, (10) The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: (11) And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. (12) Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. (13) And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them." Revelation 15:2, "And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God."

The Bible clearly defines separate bodily, different groups of  resurrections so why not separate comings of Christ?

The first major prohetic event that has to take place is that the dead believers must rise, and recieve next also  their resurection bodies..  even so that they and the believers who are still alive when Christ comes, can all be gathered to meet Christ together as he comes to judge his  people. The dead in Christ will rise first, so that after that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them to meet Christ.

(Job 19:26 KJV)  And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: 27   Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.

What about those who do die presently? The Bible speaks clearly that a when a person dies, the soul is received into the Lord's presence or banished from that presence (see, for example, Luke 23:43, Philippians 1:23). That information certainly implies or presupposes some kind of "private" or "particular" judgment. The Bible also clearly speaks of periodic, temporal, even a public and universal judgment for people even on the Last Day (see as examples Matthew 25:31-46, 1 Corinthians 1:7-8, 2 Thessalonians 1:6-10).

and the second and third  time Christ comes back  is when everyone else will see him.... which to me is after the rapture but before the Millennium and even again after the Millenium.

Each of the three return of Christ is followed by immediate judgements,

A. The first Judgment before the Throne of Judgment is described in Romans 14:10,12 as the Judgment Seat of Christ. Here we see that those who are to be judged are believers.
Romans 14:10,12
        2 Corinthians 5:10
        Romans 14:23
        1 Corinthians 3:11-15
B. The second Judgment before the Throne of Judgment is described in Matthew 25:31-46 as the Throne of His Glory. This Throne of Judgment, however, is not in heaven but rather is on earth. The time frame for this judgment is the return of the Lord Jesus Christ to set up His Kingdom on earth. Before this Throne of Judgment all the nations on earth at His return will be judged, in-order to determine who will have the privilege of being a major part of His earthly kingdom?
Matthew 25:31-46
1 Corinthians 6:1-2
Revelation 2:26-27
C. The third judgment before the Throne of Judgment is described in Revelation 20:11-15 and is known as the Great White Throne Judgment. This judgment will take place at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ on earth. The dead from the beginning of time, who have not yet been judged will at this time stand before the Throne of Judgment.
Revelation 20:5
Revelation 20:11-15

(Zec 14:4 KJV)  And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south....  (Zec 14:8 KJV)  And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. 9  And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one....

(Zec 14:11 KJV)  And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.12   And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.13  And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.14  And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.

But  I am still not sure as to the timing of these above events? it seem before the Millennium.. after the rapture and tribulation. If it was so really important why was it not mentioned in the   New Testament? Important events clearly are repeated in the New Testament. Are they not?

(Rev 1:7 KJV)  Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

The Millennium will occur during the period of the new earth and new heaven.. or before?
Some New testament passages indicate before and some afterwards? Some people seem rather to  lie and say earth will be forever..

(Rev 21:1 KJV)  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

(Rev 21:22 KJV)  And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.   And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

(Rev 6:14 KJV)  And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.15  And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;16  And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:17  For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Christians will before all this  be resurrected after the rapture time and they will have a real physical body, but unbelievers  and their bodies are not resurrected yet till after the Millenium.

(Rev 2:11 KJV)  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

(Rev 2:26 KJV)  And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

(Rev 3:21 KJV)  To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Unbelievers will be resurrected at the end of the Millenium, and the devil will be let of prison then too ,and next both of them will end up in hell, the new lake of fire.

(Rev 20:1 KJV)  And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2  And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3  And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.  4  And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

(Rev 20:7 KJV)  And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

(Rev 20:10 KJV)  And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.11   And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.12   And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the( rest of the )  dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

64 Reasons The Rapture Of The Church now Is Not the next Second Coming Of Christ To Reign On Earth

Those who do not believe in the biblical doctrine of the Rapture of the Church, usually argue that there is only one Coming or return of Christ to the earth to judge the nations. Some hold that this One Coming is simply for taking the believers home to heaven, with a judgment to follow. Clearly the Bible portrays  more than one resurrections.. more than one judgements too..

Those who hold to the Rapture of the Church are far more careful to observe what the Bible says in context. They can observe the simple fact that there is a difference between up and down. Believers go up to meet Christ in the air. The Second Coming is indeed truly a “coming” of the Lord down to the earth physically to establish the millennial kingdom promised to the Old Testament prophets.

Below is a list of verses and points, as shown in the Bible, highlighting the difference between the Rapture and the Second Coming of the Lord to reign on earth.

Proofs of the Imminency of the Rapture

Imminency means that Paul taught that the Rapture could happen at any time to those to whom he was writing. The key to Rapture passages is Paul’s use of “we, you, us.” In other words believers now are to look for this catching away! (Sometimes these pronouns are not in the English Bible versions but they are implied in the grammar of the verbs Paul uses.)

The “you, we, us” passages addressed to the body of Christ, the Church saints

John 14:1-3
I go to prepare a place for you.
I will receive you to Myself.
Where I am, there you may be also.

James 5:7-9
[You] strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
[You] behold, the judge is standing right at the door.

1 Thess. 1:9-10
You wait for His Son from heaven.
Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come.

1 Thess. 2:17-19
You [our hope], in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming.

1 Thess. 3:13
That [He may] establish your hearts … before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints.

1 Thess. 4:13-18
We who are alive, and remain until the coming of the Lord, shall not precede those who have fallen asleep.
We who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds. We shall always be with the Lord.
You comfort one another with these words.

1 Thess. 5:1-11
You are not in darkness, that the day [of the Lord] should overtake you like a thief.
You are all sons of light and sons of day.
We are not of night nor of darkness.
But since we are of the day, let us be sober.
God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation (deliverance) through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thess. 5:23
May the Lord sanctify you … without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Thess. 2:1-2
With regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him.
[You] be not quickly shaken … to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.

1 Tim. 6:14
You keep the commandment … until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Cor. 15:51-52
We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed.
The dead in Christ will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.

Phil. 3:20-21
    Our citizenship is in heaven.
We eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
[Christ] will transform the body of our humble state (or humiliated body).

Titus 2:13
[We are] looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus.

1 John 2:28
We may have confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame at His coming.

1 John 3:2-3
We know that, when He appears, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him just as He is.
Everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

A Key Passage: 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10

  1. The Thessalonian church was “serving” and “waiting for God’s Son from heaven.” (They were not just serving; they were not just waiting! They were doing both!)

  2. “Jesus who ‘rescues’ us away from the wrath (that is certainly) coming” (Greek)

Some may still wonder why there is a heated discussion about this issue. It is important for the following reasons:

  1. First, if the Rapture truly is in Scripture, that is enough to make it important. In other words, every doctrine the Lord has given us has a purpose and is important, simply because He has given it to us!

  2. The Rapture is called the Blessed Hope. It promises redemption from the terrible seven year Tribulation so detailed in the book of Revelation.

  3. Generally speaking, those who deny the Rapture of the Church interpret the Bible in a “spiritualized” or “allegorical” way. They also fail to consider “contexts.” They deny certain passages of Scripture in the normal sense. By letting the Bible speak plainly in its teachings to us, we honor the Lord. We take His Word at face value!

   Some general rules to note:

  1. Rapture passages are addressed to believers in the body of Christ. They are verses that speak of going directly back or up to the Lord in heaven.

  2. Second Coming passages have to do with the Lord coming down to earth to bless Israel, judge the nations, and rule the earth with a scepter of iron!

Comparison Of Rapture And Second Coming Verses:

Rapture:
Christ prepares a place for us and takes us back to heaven. “I will come again and receive you to Myself” (John 14:1-3).
Second Coming:
Coming to reign and rule in Jerusalem, Christ’s feet touch upon the Mt. of Olives. “In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount will split in its middle” (Zech. 14:4).

Rapture:
Christ prepares a place in heaven. “I go to prepare a place for you” (John 14:2).
Second Coming:
Christ becomes a ruling king on earth. “The Lord will be king over all the earth” (Zech. 14:9).

Rapture:
The Church is with the Lord in heaven. “Where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:3).
Second Coming:
The Jewish people are with their king on earth. “And people will live in [Jerusalem], and there will be no more curse, for Jerusalem will dwell in security” (Zech. 14:11).

Rapture:
Announced by the trumpet of God (1 Thess. 4:16).
Second Coming:
Announced simply by a great trumpet (but not called the trumpet of God) (Matt. 24:31).

Rapture:
Those “in Christ” are gathered “to meet the Lord in the air” (1 Thess. 4:17).
Second Coming:
The “elect” gathered (of Jews and the nations) (Matt. 24:31) to come before the king on His earthly throne (Matt. 25:31).

Rapture:
The Lord descends from heaven with a shout (1 Thess. 4:16).
Second Coming:
The Lord does not shout (Scripture gives no indication of such).

Rapture:
The voice of the archangel is heard (1 Thess. 4:16).
Second Coming:
Many angels sound a great trumpet but their voices are not heard (Matt. 24:31).

Rapture:
No sign given for His coming.
Second Coming:
A sign is given (Matt. 24:30).

Rapture:
Called the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thess. 5:9).

Rapture:
The Scriptures do not indicate that the lost of the world will see His Rapture coming.

Rapture:
The Church saints (those in Christ) will be caught up alive “to be together (with the resurrected Church saints) in the clouds” (1 Thess. 4:17).

Christ’s power is not necessarily displayed openly to the world.

He comes “with power and great glory” as the Son of Man to rule on earth (Matt. 24:31).

Rapture:
Called the Day of Christ (Phil. 1:6, 10; 2:16). Day of blessing for the believer.

Called the Day of the Lord (1 Thess. 5:2). Day of judgment for the world, “When they (the world) says ‘Peace and Safety!’ then destruction comes upon them” (v. 3).

Rapture:
The Day of the Lord. “That day should not overtake you like a thief” (1 Thess. 5:5).
Second Coming:
The Day of the Lord. “Shall come [on them, the world] like a thief” (1 Thess. 5:2).

Believers in this Church age will be Raptured out of the Tribulation because they are sons of light, sons of the day (1 Thess. 5:5).

Believers will be Raptured because they are not destined for wrath (1 Thess. 5:9).
Second Coming:
Unbelievers will face the Day of the Lord because (implied) they are destined for wrath (1 Thess. 5:9).

He comes as “King of Kings and Lord of Lords” (Rev. 19:16).

Rapture:
No earthly reign takes place.
Second Coming:
He reigns for a thousand years (Rev. 20:1-5).

Rapture:
Those Raptured resurrected are taken up to meet the Lord in the clouds (1 Thess. 4:17).
Second Coming:
Those in the resurrection at the beginning of the thousand year kingdom, “will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years” (Rev. 20:6).

Rapture:
When the resurrected Church saints, and we the living Church saints, all together are taken up in the clouds, it is said “we shall always be with the Lord” (1 Thess. 4:17). Therefore, when Jesus comes to reign on earth for one thousand years, the Church Age saints will return with Him.
Second Coming:
Those resurrected at the beginning of the one thousand year reign are apparently those who died during the great Tribulation (Rev. 20:6).

Rapture:
Resurrection and Rapture only for “those in Christ.”
Second Coming:
A resurrection for Old Testament saints, that takes place after the “time of distress” (the Tribulation) (Dan. 12:1-2).

Rapture:
The unsaved people of the nations are unaffected and unchanged at the Rapture.
Second Coming:
The nations are judged and/or blessed when the Messiah comes to reign.

Rapture:
The nation of Israel is left unchanged when the Rapture takes place.
Second Coming:
The nation of Israel is gathered, judged, and the righteous Jews inter kingdom blessing.

Rapture:
Can happen at any moment.
Second Coming:
Comes at the end of the seven year Tribulation.

Rapture:
Not before revealed that Paul had to reveal (1 Thess. 4:13). That’s why Paul says he must tell believers about the Rapture so that they would not be ignorant of the fact.
Second Coming:
Throughly revealed in Old Testament promises and by Christ in the Gospels.

Rapture:
Called a “mystery,” something not before revealed (1 Cor. 15:51).
Second Coming:
The Second Coming is a well known fact taught throughout the Old Testament prophets.

Rapture:
Believers are changed (1 Cor. 15:51).
Second Coming:
Believers are not said to be changed, that is, those who believed during the Tribulation and are alive to enter the kingdom when the Messiah comes.

Rapture:
Before the Rapture, the believers are called those “in Christ” (1 Thess. 4:16).
Second Coming:
Those believing who are in the Tribulation (Rev. 6-19) are not called “Church saints” nor “those in Christ.”

Rapture:
Before the Rapture, the believers are called those “in Christ” (1 Thess. 4:16).
Second Coming:
Both Jew and Gentile who enter the kingdom in their natural body are never called “the Church” nor “those in Christ.”

Rapture:
When the Rapture takes place those in Christ are “changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye” (1 Cor. 15:51-52).
Second Coming:
Though the Second Coming happens quickly, the event is still pictured as something that unfolds over (even) a short period of time. A sign in heaven is given, an earthly gathering takes place, both Jews and Gentile mourn at His coming, He steps onto the Mt. of Olives, He enters the city of Jerusalem.

Rapture:
When the Rapture and/or the resurrection of “those in Christ” takes place, the believer is given “the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” over the issue of death (1 Cor. 15:57).
Second Coming:
When the Second Coming takes place, Christ comes as the victorious king and general. Following the kingdom and the Great White Throne Judgment, certainly all saints of all the ages past are given eternal life. But this is not mentioned as such at the Second Coming.

Rapture:
The exhortation to look for “the glorious appearing” of Christ for His own, the Church (Titus 2:13) loses its significance if the Tribulation must first intervene. Church believers, then, should look for signs. But they are not told to.

Rapture:
Creation is unchanged.
Second Coming:
Creation is changed by the blessings of the kingdom (Isa. 65:25). “The wolf and the lamb shall graze together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox, … They shall do no evil or harm in all My holy mountain, says the Lord.”

Rapture:
At the time of the Rapture, or before, there is no indication that the Church saints will see the antichrist or the “power, signs, and false wonders” of Satan (2 Thess. 2:8-9).
Second Coming:
After the Rapture and sometime before the Second Coming of Christ, the antichrist will “display himself as being God” in the temple (2 Thess. 2:4; 8-9).

Rapture:
The Rapture is not the Day of the Lord which holds terror for the world.
Second Coming:
The Day of the Lord is a terrible event that the believers in the Church do not fear. “Do not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed … to the effect that the day of the Lord has come” (2 Thess. 2:1-2).

Rapture:
The “coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him” is not the Second Coming (2 Thess. 2:1).
Second Coming:
The Day of the Lord is “a coming” to earth, not our being gathered to heaven (2 Thess. 2:2).

Rapture:
Christ is not said to destroy the antichrist “with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming (2 Thess. 2:8).
Second Coming:
Christ destroys the antichrist at His coming (2 Thess. 2:8).

Rapture:
The Rapture is not called the Second Coming.
Second Coming:
This is virtually called the Second Coming in Hebrews 9:28. Christ “shall appear a “Second time” for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.

Rapture:
In the Rapture “we” are “caught up” into the clouds (1 Thess. 4:17). “Caught up” in Greek means to suddenly “snatch, jerk away, remove quickly.”
Second Coming:
This is not said of the Second Coming.

Rapture:
For those who are now looking for the Rapture, a hope is given and causes a moral purification (1 John 3:2-3).
Second Coming:
This is not said of those looking for the Second Coming, though that is a glorious event in itself!

But don't believe now even everything I say, written here as well, make sure it all does lines up with the New Testament teaching as well. Many people listen to what others say, and it can be really wrong and  Do always also ask God to personally always confirm everything to you
